Authenticity Guarantee

CCA stands behind the authenticity and grade of eligible cards we certify and encapsulate. If CCA determines that a card was incorrectly authenticated or assigned an inaccurate grade, the card may qualify for protection under the CCA Authenticity & Grade Guarantee.

This guarantee applies to eligible TCG, Pokémon, trading cards, and sports cards that remain sealed in their original CCA tamper-evident holder.

Guarantee Coverage

Eligible claims may include:

• Incorrect authentication

• Inaccurate grading

• Cards determined to be counterfeit or altered

• Cards requiring a revised lower grade

Available Remedies

If a claim is approved, CCA may provide one of the following remedies:

• Market Buyback: CCA may purchase the card at its current market value.

• Value Difference: CCA may refund the difference between the original grade value and the revised grade value.

Claim Limits

• Per card maximum: $250,000

• Lifetime maximum per person: $500,000

• Vetting: Required for eligible claims

Important Exclusions

The guarantee does not apply to original submitters, label typos, cards removed from the holder, tampered holders, environmental damage, manufacturer defects, or fraudulent claims.
