How to Pack Cards

Preparing your submission for shipping is simple with CCA.

To help ensure your cards arrive safely and are processed correctly, please follow the steps below before mailing your package.

Important Shipping Notice

CCA currently only accepts USPS shipments for customer submissions.

Please do not ship your submission using FedEx, UPS, DHL, or any other carrier unless CCA has specifically approved it in writing.

Protect Your Cards

  • Keep all cards in the same order as entered in your submission.

  • Each card should be placed in a penny sleeve and then placed inside a card saver or top loader.

  • CCA accepts cards submitted in card savers or top loaders.

  • Do not tape the card saver or top loader closed.

Secure the Cards

  • Once all cards are protected, sandwich the stack between two pieces of rigid cardboard.

  • Place one piece of cardboard on the front and one piece on the back, then secure the stack with a rubber band.

  • The goal is to keep the cards from shifting, bending, or moving around during transit.

Pack the Box

  • Place the secured cards inside a sturdy shipping box.

  • Do not use a plain envelope or bubble mailer for card submissions.

  • Add packing material such as bubble wrap, packing paper, or other protective material so the cards do not move inside the box during shipment.

Print Your Documents

  • Your submission includes documents that help CCA identify and process your order.

  • The Submission Packing Slip should be placed inside the box.

  • The Submission Mailing Label should be taped to the outside of the box.

  • Please make sure the order number and submission details are visible and easy to read.

Ship With USPS

  • Once your package is ready, ship it using USPS.

  • We recommend using a USPS service that includes tracking. For higher-value submissions, we also recommend purchasing shipping insurance when sending your cards to CCA.

  • Customers are responsible for safely shipping their cards to CCA.

Add Your Tracking Number

  • After shipping your package, you may add your USPS tracking number to your submission page.

  • Adding tracking helps both you and CCA monitor the package while it is on the way to our facility.

  • If you do not have the tracking number available, you may still mark the package as shipped once it has been sent.

Receiving Your Submission

Once CCA receives your package, your submission status will update from Awaiting Shipment or Awaiting Receiving to Received.

Processing times begin after your submission has been received and checked into our system.
