CCA Card Grading Services Are Now Live

Updated October 2026. We published this post on June 30, 2026, the day we reopened submissions on our redesigned platform. We have rewritten it to show what grading with CCA looks like today and what we have added since launch. Prices and details below are current.

CCA Card has been grading cards for collectors since 2022. In January 2026 we began redesigning our platform from the ground up, and on June 30, 2026 we reopened submissions on it. We grade Pokémon, trading card game and sports cards, starting from $8/card for bulk (10 card minimum), $10 standard. Every card is scanned front and back, measured, graded by a person and given a public certificate.

The new CCA is built around transparency: measured centering with proof images on every certificate, public population reports, and new services like Sell with CCA that were not part of our original platform.

Some of the first cards on our new platform

Our first submissions on the new platform were not a wall of Gem Mints. Certs #1, #6 and #11, a 1st Edition Beedrill, a Base Set Charmander and a 1st Edition Neo Genesis Azumarill, came in together and graded 4, 5 and 6. Each certificate lists all four subgrades and what held the card back, from whitening and creases to a dent. That is the point of a grade: it should mean the same thing on cert #1 as it does on every cert after it.

One note for transparency: certs #1 through #11 were graded with our original formula, a straight average of the four subgrades. We have since moved to our current formula, which weights surface the heaviest and stops one strong subgrade from hiding a weak one. Those first eleven certs keep the grades they were issued.

Look up any cert

Every slab graded on our new platform, starting with cert #1, has a public certificate. Enter a cert number at ccacard.com/cert or scan the QR code on the back of the slab to see the front and back slab scans, the grade, all four subgrades and the grader's notes.

Have a CCA slab from 2022?

Slabs graded in 2022 were issued on our original platform, and their records were not carried over to the new one. You can spot one by its cert number, which starts with a run of five to eight zeros, like 00000123. Those numbers will not come up in our current cert lookup, and because cert numbers on the new platform started again at #1, the same number without the zeros may now belong to a different card. If you own one, we will reholder it in a current CCA slab, regrade the card and issue a new cert you can verify online, free of charge. Contact us, or open a support ticket from your dashboard, and we will walk you through it.

How to submit

1. Create a free account and start a new submission.
2. Pick a service level. Bulk, Standard, Express or Walk Through, priced below.
3. Add your cards. Search our card database of more than 400,000 cards so the set, number and parallel are filled in for you, or add a card by hand. Enter a declared value for each card; if you are not sure, you can check recent market prices right from the form.
4. Choose Return or Sell for each card. Return ships the slab back to you. Sell keeps it here and we list it on eBay for you with Sell with CCA.
5. Review and check out. Confirm your insurance, return shipping and a saved card. You are not charged until your cards are graded.
6. Print and ship. Print your packing slip and mailing label, on standard paper or 4 by 6, and send your cards to us.
7. Follow along and reveal. Track every stage in your dashboard. Once your order is paid, open your grades one card at a time with Grade Reveal.

What we have added since launch

Here is what has changed for collectors since we reopened submissions on June 30, 2026.

July 2026

• Grade Reveal. Once your order is paid, you open your grades yourself, one card at a time.
• Measured centering. Every card's centering is measured from a high resolution scan, with proof images on its public certificate and our full scale on the grading standards page.
• Sell with CCA. We can list your graded cards on eBay for you, and you can follow bids, watchers and offers from your dashboard.
• Easier submissions. Card search shows each card's year and series, a price check helps you set declared values, and you choose which saved card pays.

August 2026

• Built for your phone. The whole site works on mobile, from submitting to tracking.
• Clear updates on arrival. If a card is missing from your package, we let you know right away and adjust your invoice before you are charged.
• One dashboard. A redesigned site with your submissions, sales and billing in one place.

September 2026

• Real sales data. Sales history and price charts on certificates, and Recent Sales with real sold prices for CCA graded cards.

• Better slabs. Our slabs are now more water resistant and airtight, and seal cleaner with little to no imperfections.
• Clearer labels and certificates. Labels can show a card's edition, like 1st Edition or Unlimited, and centering proofs on certificates now focus on the card itself.
• Faster search and stronger privacy. Quicker card search, and tighter protection for your account and your grades until your order is paid.
